Double Vision
Double vision is a frequent symptom that can be, but not always is, a sign of a neurologic disease or impending neurologic disease. Double vision can be due to anything from a cataract or diabetes to an impending stroke or a brain tumor or aneurysm.

Treatment
The appropriate way to investigate the symptom of double vision is to be able to identify that pattern of the cause of the double vision. From this pattern the physicians in the Neuro-Ophthalmology Service will direct the investigation, if one is needed, in the appropriate direction.
