Welcome to Optic Nerve Research Center (ONRC)
The Optic Nerve Research Center is a knowledge-based ophthalmic research organization, operating nationally and internationally, located in Claymont, Delaware, since 2005. The centralized reading center specializes in research protocol development to ensure consistency and reliability in the interpretation of visual function testing in both clinical and research applications. The ONRC provides centralized reading services for all ophthalmology related examinations and testing for clinical trials, including OCT, autofluorescence, fundus photographs, and electroretinography. In addition, the center trains and certifies technicians to perform quality testing consistent with study requirements. This multi-functional organization was established to serve the needs of the pharmaceutical industry to acquire and analyze complex visual data in phase 1, 2, 3, and 4 studies.
